2020 Altamira International Virtual Guitar Competition
In times of great turbulence, uncertainty and change, Altamira Guitars aims to provide continuous opportunities to guitarists of all ages by giving positive encouragement and rewarding the constant effort to improve. Altamira also aims to provide a platform for artful expression during this global state of lockdown which has limited travel and performance opportunities.
We have a total prize offering of US$35,000 and are grateful to have a superstar lineup of artists as adjudicators across all categories:

Dates and Process.
The Altamira International Virtual Guitar Competition will take place between 22 June 2020 and 17 July 2020 with the winners of each category to be announced on each Friday in July.
